SPAIN ISOLATED FROM THE WORLD DUE TO COMMUNICATIONS FAILURE

For three days, Spain and Portugal have been completely isolated from the world due to an incredible failure in all communications. Telephones, the Internet, the Intranet, Wi-Fi, and all personal and professional networks have disappeared. Communications within or outside the Iberian Peninsula have been shut down.

Communications returned to normal this Wednesday, thus putting an end to the despair of citizens. The governments of Madrid and Lisbon stated that they are trying to determine the origin of this total communications failure; something unprecedented.

How is it possible that Spain, an industrialized country with a high level of growth, could become a third-world nation? In government circles in Madrid, this true catastrophe is attributed to an act of sabotage, but no one believes it is possible to sabotage all the communication networks of two entire countries.

Without communications, the inhabitants of these two countries faced a chaotic situation. Hospitals, healthcare centers, schools—both countries were left in the dark. On the first day of this chaos, the power also went out, but it was restored overnight. People accustomed to using their cell phones were left in the dark. Their personal Wi-Fi IP addresses didn't disappear, but they were useless because they couldn't connect to anyone.

This demonstrates once again that without communications, an entire country was paralyzed. Telephones and other networks were down for up to three full days. Spaniards returned to the days of Franco's dictatorship, when it was difficult to get a phone. Back then, there was no internet, so people were already accustomed to traveling to be able to talk to a family member or someone else.

Who is responsible for this chaos? It will probably never be known because everything points to the Spanish and Portuguese governments. The satellite dishes were also useless even if they were powered by electricity. They remained silent because contact with the satellite networks was interrupted.

Long lines of citizens formed at the headquarters of the communication companies demanding an explanation, but no one was able to provide one, and the sabotage issue wasn't taken seriously, given the importance of this failure. Starting this afternoon, you can order a pizza by cell phone. The suffering is over.
