ERDOGAN IGNITES LIBYA
The civil war in Libya enters a new chapter after becoming official the military intervention of Turkey in Libya in support of the Government of Tripoli.
With the sending of troops to Libya, Ankara is positioned next to the Government of Faiez el Sarraj, established in the Libyan capital, and recognized by the United Nations, in front of Marshal Jalifa Hafter, considered the "strong man" of Libya, who leads the Libyan National Army (LNA) forces.
Both, divided into strongly opposing administrations, control parts of the country, where they lead their own governments, the first from the west, which does so from Tripoli, with the support of the UN, and the second in the east, based in Benghazi.
Turkish geopolitical expansion, through a military escalation in the Middle East and North Africa, and the strong uncertainties in several countries in the region, leads to greater instability in the area.
With this intervention Ankara strengthens its tough foreign policy in the Arab world, leading operations both in Libya and in Syria.
For the Arab League, which had opposed a possible Turkish intervention in Libya before the vote in the Turkish Parliament, this decision poses "a threat to Arab security" and "ignites the conflict" in the North African country.
A statement from the pan-Arab agency, citing an anonymous source, believes that "giving the power to the Turkish president to send troops to Libya ignites the ongoing conflict" in this member country of the League, says-
