SAUDI ARABIA AND IRAN STRENGTHEN TIES

It seems like yesterday when Riyadh and Tehran were fierce enemies dialectically fighting each other. Things have changed and now the two capitals have determined that they will work together to promote peace in the Middle East, and in particular bilateral relations.

The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohamed Bin Salman, received the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in Jeddah this Friday, thus giving efficient proof of the excellent cooperative relations between the two countries.

“With the will of the heads of the two countries, stable bilateral relations were emphasized in all fields. We agree on ‘security and development for all’ in the region, the Iran top envoy posted on Twitter.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan was present at the meeting, along with an Iranian delegation that accompanied Amir-Abdollahian.

Now it will be necessary to see what consequences these relations have on the conflict in Yemen.
