BIDEN TRAVELS TO ISRAEL TO PREVENT WAR FROM EXTENDING.

The president of the United States, Joe Biden, will travel to Israel on Wednesday with the main objective of preventing the war between Israel and Hamas from spreading in the Middle East region, which would make this conflict a very dangerous situation for peace.

The Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, specified: “First, the President will reaffirm the United States' solidarity with Israel and our ironclad commitment to its security. President Biden will again make clear, as he's done unequivocally since Hamas's slaughter of more than 1,400 people, including at least 30 Americans, that Israel has the right and indeed the duty to defend its people from Hamas and other terrorists and to prevent future attacks. “The President will hear from Israel what it needs to defend its people as we continue to work with Congress to meet those needs.”

And he added that: “the President will hear from Israel how it will conduct its operations in a way that minimizes civilian casualties and enables humanitarian assistance to flow to civilians in Gaza in a way that does not benefit Hamas.”

But, meanwhile, the Arab League and the African Union have stated that the attacks that Israel maintains on Gaza, bombings and deaths of civilians, can be considered "a genocide" that would be dealt with in the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Israel does not accept this jurisdiction, so the ICJ would be paralyzed.

We must not forget that Israel:

1.- DOES NOT accept the resolutions of the UN Security Council

2.- DOES NOT accept the genocide nature of their crimes.

3.- It does not judge or condemn the “Tsahal” military when they commit murders.

Therefore, the Zionist state has illegal conduct from the point of view of international law and human rights.

On the other hand, the UN Security Council voted against a request from Russia to establish a ceasefire in Gaza that would allow the delivery of humanitarian aid.

Voting in favor: Russia, China, the UAE, Gabon and Mozambique, while the US, UK, France and Japan voted against. Brazil, Malta, Albania, Switzerland, Ecuador and Ghana abstained. Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, after the vote elected the council had once again been held “hostage” to the “selfish intentions of the Western bloc of countries.”

For its part, Saudi Arabia has once again stated before the United Nations that it condemns and rejects the deportations of Palestinians from Gaza that Israel continues to carry out.

Prince Faisal bin Khalid, second secretary at the Saudi UN mission in New York, also called for the lifting of sanctions and the blockade on Gaza, as well as the provision of essential humanitarian aid, emphasizing that depriving Palestinians of these basic human needs is a violation of international humanitarian law.

Hamas has already put the death toll from the bombings at more than 2,500, while the injured number more than 10,000.
