NETANYAHU AGAINST FREE TV AL JAZEERA
The Israeli Parliament (Knesset) has massively approved a motion presented by Prime Minister Netanyahu, in which the Qatari free TV channel “Al Jazeera” is falsely accused of “serving terrorism.”
An absolutely false accusation because “Al Jazeera” maintains a neutral reporting line on the Gaza war, and even presents Netanyahu's own statements and propaganda images made by the armed forces (Tsahal).
But the rabid and war criminal, Netanyahu, who would like the Arab networks to be at the service of Israel, has no limits in his attacks against the international news media, in which the reality of a destroyed Gaza is presented, with more than 32,000 civilians killed in Israeli air raids.
Even the president of the United States, Joe Biden, has stated that this ban on “Al Jazeera” is worrying because it attacks the sacrosanct principle of freedom of information.
Al Jazeera Media Network, slammed the decision in a statement, vowing it would not stop the network from continuing its “bold and professional coverage.”
Al Jazeera also said that these were “slanderous accusations” that “jeopardize” not only the reputation of Al Jazeera but also the safety and rights of its employees worldwide. In a statement, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said it was “deeply concerned” by the new legislation.
Netanyahu's attacks against "Al Jazeera" show that international accusations against the genocide that Israel practices in Gaza are having an effect not only against the criminal prime minister, but against all the Israeli forces that still support him.
Biden has stated that he considers Netanyahu the biggest obstacle preventing a peace process from taking place in the Palestinian enclave. The Jewish leader remains obsessed with the idea of "eliminating" the radical group Hamas.
Israel continues bombing Gaza. In an attack against a vehicle of members of the humanitarian organization “World Central Kitchen” of the well-known Spanish chef, José Andres, who were serving meals to Palestinian civilians, seven of them, of various nationalities, died.
