THE US WANTS THE GAZA WAR TO END

The United States is Israel's main ally and protector, but the importance that the genocide has taken on in the Palestinian enclave has led President Joe Biden to demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu end the Gaza war. .

Biden now supports the plan drawn up by mediators Qatar and Egypt, which consists of a humanitarian pause, followed by a ceasefire, the release of the hostages held by Hamas, and the beginning of the withdrawal of Israeli troops.

Hamas has given its agreement, but Netanyahu has rejected it and continues to make preparations to invade Rafah, which would lead to one of the biggest war crimes in modern history.

Secretary of State, Blinken, has been very clear in a statement made this Monday. “Israel gets out of Gaza.” It cannot be expressed more clearly that Washington demands that the war end.

Biden also wants the hostages still alive in the hands of Hamas to be released as soon as possible. However, a Jew named Netanyahu does not care about the death of other Jewish prisoners. A few days ago, Hamas presented a statement from a British-Israeli prisoner asking Tel Aviv to accept the ceasefire. Hours after this statement, Hamas claimed that the hostage had died in one of the bombings.

That the Palestinian movement is considered a terrorist group is internationally accepted. Turkish President Erdogan disagrees with that qualification and on Monday called Hamas “a resistance movement that fights for the liberation of its people.

Netanyahu assures that he will eliminate every last member of Hamas. The United States and other Western countries, such as France, describe this wish of the Israeli leader as an “illusion.” It is understood that if tomorrow Hamas no longer existed, the next day hundreds of young Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank would reconstitute it. Netanyahu wants to understand it, he remains dazzled by his “victory” and causing new victims of Palestinian civilians.

The Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani told the Qatar Economic Forum that “in the past few weeks, we have seen some momentum building but unfortunately things didn't move in the right direction.” Qatar is striving to reach a peace agreement that guarantees the release of the hostages. It is a powerful humanitarian gesture that saves the lives of those captured by Hamas on October 7.
