ISRAEL AGAIN ATTACKS SPAIN

Once again, Israel attacks Spain again for having recognized the state of Palestine and joining South Africa in the complaint for genocide presented to the International Court of Justice (IJT).

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Israel Katz, has published a manipulated photo of the president, Pedro Sánchez, with the vice president of the government, Yolanda Diaz, in which they appear with eggs that have been thrown at his head.

Katz says that these eggs have been thrown at them by the voters when they were defeated in the last European Parliament elections. This is not strictly true. The Sanchez and Diaz parties have lost many votes in these elections but maintain the government. Díaz has resigned from the leadership of her party, “Sumar” of the left wing.

The loss of votes must be registered in the advance of the right-wing parties that affects all European formations. It has not been only Spain that has lost votes in these European Parliament elections.

But Katz is embarking on a “crusade” against Sánchez and Díaz for their support for the independence of the state of Palestine. And his repeated criticism of Israel's crimes in Gaza.

The people of Spain and the Arabs have lived together for 700 years when Al Andalus existed. The Spanish language is full of Arabic words and the friendship between Spaniards and Arabs remains in force.

In the 14th century, Christian Spain expelled the Jews, but allowed a few thousand to remain in the country if they renounced their faith and converted to Christianity. It was known that these false Christians celebrated their Jewish rites secretly and in secret, but they were able to continue living in Spain. The vast majority of Sephardic Jews were expelled.

Katz especially attacks Yolanda for having said that Palestine “will one day be from the Jordan River to the sea,” a phrase that calls for the destruction of Israel and is used by Hamas.

On the other hand, the PMU Security Council has approved a resolution presented by the United States to demand compliance with President Joe Biden's peace plan, which calls for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of the hostages held. Hamas is still in power.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in the Middle East to convince Prime Minister Netanyahu to accept this plan. So far, Netanyahu opposes it and remains in favor of continuing the war.
