TRUMP ASKS NETANYAHU TO END WAR IN GAZA.

In the interview held today at Mar-A-Lago, the private residence of former American President Donald Trump, he asked Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu “to end the war in Gaza” according to official reports.

It seems incredible that Trump demands anything from Netanyahu, since he was almost at the orders of the Jewish leader, during the four years of his residence, which can be repeated if he wins the presidential elections next November.

Trump granted Netanyahu everything he wanted, so this last sentence could belong to the realm of propaganda, to appear in the media. Does Trump intend to put pressure on his Jewish guest? That would be a good deed and would show that both Putin and Netanyahu owe favors to their American friend. And Trump would appear as the hero capable of achieving peace in Ukraine and Gaza.

But there is no need to set off fireworks just yet to express the joy of seeing the two wars over. For the moment, this is a hypothesis that is not supported by anything serious, except words. President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken have already asked Netanyahu the same thing, and he has turned a deaf ear to them.

According to sources close to Trump, he is said to have said that the war in Gaza “is going on too long and it would be good if it ended.” The Jewish leader is said to have nodded in the affirmative. In Washington, however, they believe that an agreement with Hamas for the release of the hostages is not far off. It is an urgent matter if some are to remain alive.

The American elections in November are, above all, a matter of domestic politics and international issues are of much less importance. “America comes first,” the followers of the Florida billionaire continue to shout. Netanyahu knows this and that is why he does not seem to be in a hurry to conclude an agreement with Hamas, even though he says the opposite.

Finally, Obama and his wife, Michelle, have decided to support the candidacy of Kamala Harris. Both had maintained silence, which some considered to be criticism. Harris' star seems to be very high on the horizon, but seeing a woman at the head of the White House would be a huge surprise.
