MOROCCO-ISRAEL: THE BETRAYAL

Under unprecedented pressure from former President Donald Trump, some Arab countries have established relations with Israel, turning their backs on the Arab peace plan presented in March 2007 by Saudi Arabia, and supported by 21 of the 22 members of the Arab League, the which indicated that Israel should withdraw from all the territories occupied in 1967, the establishment of a Palestinian state with its capital in the eastern part of Jerusalem; And once this was accomplished, the Arab countries considered the conflict with Israel over, then normalizing their relations,

Israel has not taken any of these steps, so the Arab countries that have now recognized Israel have committed a betrayal of the main cause of the Arab world, which remains the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

Morocco has gone one step further in its rapprochement with Israel, establishing a military agreement, followed by others of similar importance, so it can be said that Rabat's betrayal of the Arab cause is much greater.

If Rabat has taken these steps, it is because she is desperately seeking new support so that it is recognized that Western Sahara belongs to her.

Trump, with his usual madness and his ignorance of international politics, took that step, and Morocco now wants other Western states to follow suit,

But Western Sahara does not belong to Morocco. It is a territory registered by the United Nations within the framework of decolonization and subject to the consultation of its inhabitants through a referendum that Morocco rejects, Rabat violates international law and illegally occupies a territory that never belonged to him. And now he understands that his alliance with Israel is going to help his totally illegal company to make itself a territory "different and separate from Morocco" according to the ruling of the International Court of Justice.
