QATAR 22: A PERFECT ORGANIZATION


Tomorrow, Sunday, the Qatar 22 World Cup ends, with the confrontation between Argentina and France, but we can now take stock of this great football competition, stating that it has had a perfect organization, foolproof security and recognized satisfaction for the thousands of fans who came to this emirate to attend the matches.

H H. the Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and all the Qataris who helped organize the competition have been worthy of FIFA's thanks. Everything went without the slightest problem. Qatar leaves the World Cup with the merit of being a country that stands out in the world arena and, in particular, in the Arab world.

What is there to highlight? Firstly, the victory of Saudi Arabia over Argentina; something unexpected; something that seemed unlikely to happen but did. A big BRAVO to Saudi Arabia.

We must also highlight the excellent performance of the Moroccan team, which reached the semifinals without losing a single match. Something historical. Morocco has been the first African country to reach so high in this competition. I wish I had made it to the final, because I more than deserved it.

The Qatari team did what they could, but they will still have to work hard to get higher, we wish them.

Thanks to the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Thanks to Qatar and the Qataris; and thank you for having written a great page in the book of world history and world football.

Tomorrow, France and Argentina will give the final touch. The party will end with great joy. That's how we want it.

                ONE HUNDRED KILLED IN THE ATTACK ON A SCHOOL IN GAZA Genocide and war crimes continue in Gaza, although Prime Minister Netanyahu says he is willing to resume peace negotiations. In the attack on a school this Friday, 100 Palestinians died, some of whom are women and children.
