Saudi Arabia and Oman are willing to boost and strengthen bilateral cooperation. With this objective, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Faisal bin Farhan, met with his Omani counterpart, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, in Muscat.
During the meeting, both Arab nations agreed to continue developing strategic relations in accordance with the Omani-Saudi Coordination Council, an association that, in the words of Bin Farhan, "represents an important mechanism to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two brother countries." , especially in areas of investment and commercial exchange”. This council was founded in 2021 during the visit to Saudi Arabia of the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq.
