The ARABINFOCUS blog was created with three main objectives:

1.- Defend and explain the values of the civilization and culture of the Arab world. For 4 centuries the Arabs lived in Al-Andalus and were at the forefront of the world in science, astronomy, medicine, literature. They were the first in those disciplines. This heritage has to be one of the foundations of modern Arab history.

From Baghdad, the Arabs spread to Africa and Asia carrying the teachings and values of Islam, which remain the fundamental principles of Muslim life.

2.- Israel's aggressive policy towards the Palestinian people must be explained in detail. Israel has disobeyed United Nations resolutions. It refuses to accept the creation of an independent Palestinian state. Attack, bomb, kill Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. It murders journalists, like the lamented Shireen Abu Akleh. Her murderer, a Jewish sniper, has not even been prosecuted. Israel tries to silence the voices of journalists who tell the truth about its criminal policy. Remember the murder of the boy, Muhamad Al-Durra, 2 years old, on September 30, 2000 in Gaza, when he protected his father with his arms.

3.- Defend the values of Islam. Islam is a religion of peace contrary to criticism from Western countries. The radical Palestinian groups that resort to violence do not represent the Muslim world, but it must be taken into account that this violence responds to a much greater violence by the Israeli armed forces.

Criticizing Israel's aggression is not an act of anti-Semitism.

ARABINFOCUS wants to become a digital newspaper with more importance than the blog. Welcome feedback and analysis, and keep alive the great values of our Arab world.

                ONE HUNDRED KILLED IN THE ATTACK ON A SCHOOL IN GAZA Genocide and war crimes continue in Gaza, although Prime Minister Netanyahu says he is willing to resume peace negotiations. In the attack on a school this Friday, 100 Palestinians died, some of whom are women and children. Israel justified the missile attack, stating that the school served as a refuge for Hamas militants, but has not presented the slightest evidence to justify the version of the Jewish armed forces.
