HAMAS IS ALSO SUPPORTED IN EUROPE AND THE UNITED STATES
In the bloody war that rages between Gaza and Israel, the Jewish state is not the only party that has international support. The United States has sent Tel Aviv weapons, missiles and ammunition and has placed an aircraft carrier and other warships off the Israeli coast.
But in European and North American capitals there are demonstrations in which people shout “Free Palestine!” and they consider that the attacks by Hamas armed brigades are “acts of resistance.” The protesters understand that Hamas has the legitimate right to respond to Israel's aggressions in self-defense actions.
Harvard University students have taken to the streets to support the Palestinian movement and the population of Gaza that is continually bombed.
In the House of Representatives, in Washington, a part of the left wing congressmen have refused to condemn Hamas, which has created a confrontation with those who defend Israel without taking into account the origins of the conflict and the responsibility of Zionism. .
But the greatest support for Hamas is being carried out by the organization “Black lives matters” (BLM), which compares the struggle of the Palestinians with that of black Americans. “Israel is the oppressive country, the country of apartheid,” they affirm in their proclamations.
BLM is demonstrating daily in major American cities, displaying a banner where an armed member of Hamas can be seen descending on Israel with his paraglider, under the inscription “We are with you.”
Israel has concentrated some 300,000 reservists near the border with Gaza, with the possibility of invading Palestinian territory, which would cause greater bloodshed for the civilian population. On the border with Lebanon, Israel and Hezbollah continue to use crossfire, but at the moment Hezbollah does not appear to have the intention of creating a second front.
The dead on both sides are already more than 2,000 and the number of wounded is in the thousands. Gaza has no electricity, no water, no fuel. The cuts made by Israel have caused the United Nations to consider them a serious violation of human rights. The UN has also called for a humanitarian corridor to evacuate civilians from Gaza.
The Al Jazeera network has shown rescuers in Gaza removing the bodies of women, children and men from the ruins caused by the savage bombardments by the Israeli military forces. The Zionist state has formed a national unity government that intends to turn Gaza into a field of ruins.
The Al-Qassam brigades have shown a video of the release of a woman and two children. Hamas holds about 150 prisoners.
