FOREIGNERS LEAVE GAZA THANKS TO QATAR

His Excellency, the Emir of Qatar, Tamim ben Hamad Al Thani, has once again successfully obtained mediation with Egypt, Hamas and Israel, so that some 400 foreigners who were in Qatar could leave the enclave this Wednesday. Once again, the emirate has demonstrated its ability to mediate a conflict in the Middle East.

In addition to the foreigners, more than 100 seriously injured Palestinian civilians have also left through the Rafah border so that they can be treated in Egyptian hospitals. In total, 500 people have left Gaza.

The injured have been transported in ambulances. This departure has also been coordinated between the emir and the president of the United States, Joe Biden. Egypt has prepared a field hospital in Sheikh Zuwayed in the Sinai, medical sources said.

Meanwhile, bombing continues in Gaza, and on the border between Israel and Lebanon, the government in Beirut has accused Israel of using white phosphorus bombs against Hezbollah positions.

  This type of bomb causes very serious injuries. The organization, Human Rights Watch, states that “As a weapon to set fires that burn people and objects, has a significant incendiary effect that can severely burn people and set structures, fields, and other civilian objects in the vicinity on fire.

  The use of white phosphorus in Gaza, one of the most densely populated areas in the world, magnifies the risk to civilians and violates the international humanitarian law prohibition on putting civilians at unnecessary risk. Israel has not stopped carrying out war crimes since it began its response to the Hamas action in Jewish territory on October 7.

Hamas also committed an action condemned by international law and its intervention in Israel has been classified as an act of terrorism. The response of the Jewish state is being absolutely disproportionate.

Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson of Hamas armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, said in a video on the Telegram app on Tuesday. will soon release some of the 200 or so foreign captives it had taken during the attack on Israel.
