GAZA: WHERE ARE THE ARAB COUNTRIES? Where are the Arab countries? Why don't you come help us? The cry of despair of a young Palestinian woman injured in a bombing near the Al-Kuwaiti hospital in Rafah, on the border with Egypt. Her tears mix with the blood that comes from her wounds. The horror does not stop in Gaza; Every day at least a hundred people die, many of them children. Erdogan would like Netanyahu, a “war criminal,” as he has said, to be prosecuted in The Hague by the International Court of Justice. But the Hebrew prime minister is happy with his plan to banish 2 million Palestinians, almost the entire population of the enclave, to Egypt or Jordan, to join the diaspora. While death does not stop in Gaza, the West celebrates the end of the year and the arrival of 2024, which will begin its journey with the same procession of destruction and massacres in this small ter...

BIDEN'S GREAT MISTAKE OF SUPPORTING THE ISRAELI GENOCIDE Everyone knows that the United States is Israel's main supporter on various levels: political, financial and, in particular, military. Washington allocates billions of dollars to the Jewish state every year without Tel Aviv being held accountable for the use of that pharaonic support. The complicity of the president, Biden, and the rest of the American administration is evident. Prime Minister Netanyahu is pushing the envelope without worrying that Washington is beginning to worry about the constant war crimes committed by Israeli forces in Gaza. Israel pays no attention to anyone and relentlessly continues with its project of turning the enclave into a sea of ruins and ending the lives of thousands of innocent civilians; particularly women and children. Western countries do not understand that Biden closes his eyes to the genocidal violence of Net...

MORE HUMANITARIAN AID BUT NO CEASE FIRE The United Nations Security Council approved a resolution this Friday demanding an increase in humanitarian aid in Gaza, but without demanding a cessation of hostilities. Thirteen countries approved the text, while the United States and Russia abstained. It is clear that increasing aid to the Palestinian population, who lack water, food and medicine, is a positive thing. It remains to be seen whether Israel will allow aid to pass through or make it difficult as it has done on other occasions. But the most unacceptable thing is that the resolution leaves Israel the power to continue bombing Gaza, from north to south, causing new deaths and ruins in the enclave. More than 20,000 civilians have already died, including more than 8,000 children. Antonio Guterres has commented on the scope of this resolution, pointing out that Is...

NO TO NEUTRAL INFORMATION We have said that in the Gaza war, the information is very important. It is necessary to report in detail the atrocities that Israel commits in the Palestinian enclave: the indiscriminate bombings; war crimes; the death of thousands of children who will not know life, the bombings of hospitals and schools. But informing is not enough. It is necessary to condemn the crimes of the Jewish state with harsh words. The war criminal, Netanyahu, must be condemned. We must highlight the anger of the world against the racist government that kills without mercy. Unfortunately, the Arab press and television often inform, but do not condemn. The voice is given to Netanyahu and Tsahal's spokesperson; even Zionist propaganda is sometimes presented. Is that neutrality? ARABINFOCUS will never present the sordid statements of Ne...

Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah passed away on Saturday at the age of 86, the Amiri Diwan said in a broadcasted statement.  He will be succeeded by Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah who has been declared as the new emir on Saturday. Kuwait has announced official mourning for 40 days and the closure of official departments for three days. In late November, Sheikh Nawaf was admitted to the hospital due to a medical emergency. He was later declared in stable condition. Al-Sabah's loss was felt throughout the Middle East and he was widely respected for mediating the conflict in the volatile region. Following an emergency Cabinet meeting, the Government of Kuwait this Saturday announced Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah, 83, as the new emir of Kuwait. Al-Sabah has been the de facto ruler of Kuwait since 2021, amid the emir's failing health.

THE WORLD RISES AGAINST ISRAEL With the exception of some governments such as the North American administration, the rest of the world has risen up against the genocide and unbearable war crimes that Israel is carrying out in Gaza, where at least 60 press correspondents have already died due to indiscriminate bombings. Three of the hostages held by the radical group Hamas have lost their lives after being mistakenly shot by Israeli forces. This accounts for the atrocities that the Zionists continue to commit, regardless of the call made by the United States to preserve the lives of Palestinian civilians. The last of the murdered journalists is the cameraman for Qatari Al Jazeera television, Samer Abou Daqa. Like the others killed by shooting or bombing by the Jewish military, he was buried next to the helmet and bulletproof vest...

THE SHAME OF THE ISRAELI ARMY This is how the Israeli army treats the Palestinians detained in Gaza, which it classifies without evidence as members of Hamas, which has been denied by people who know some of those arrested. Israel is violating all humanitarian rights; lying about the condition of the detained men. Genocide, war crimes and lies are the attributes of the much praised “security forces”. This is how the Israeli army justifies, this Sunday, December 10, the undressing of certain Palestinian detainees, presented as members of Hamas in full surrender in Gaza. Since mid-week, videos broadcast by Israeli television have been widely reported on social networks where the IDF's methods are denounced. We see dozens of blindfolded men, dressed only in their underwear, kneeling in a street or a sand embankment, under the guard of Israeli soldiers. ...

COMPLICES WITH THE GENOCIDE Submission is unquestionable. By preventing the Security Council resolution, which called for a humanitarian ceasefire, the United States has confirmed its complicity with the genocide that Israel maintains in Gaza, where hundreds of Palestinian civilians die every day. The Biden administration has also demonstrated that it places the interests of Israel above those of the United States. This is something completely unprecedented in international politics. The White House claims the opposite, but the facts are there: the veto is a submission accompanied by the violation of international law and humanitarian guidelines. The White House decision means that Palestinians in Gaza will continue to die devastated by the bombings. The cruel sight of child...

Opinion                               A VETO OF SUBMISSION THAT SHADOWS THE USA We have known for many years that the United States will never allow itself to criticize Israel no matter how many and great its violations of international law and human rights may be. It is a submission that does not exist, similarly, anywhere else in the world. Washington has turned the Jewish country into the greatest military power in the Middle East and supports it no matter what the circumstances. Submission was demonstrated again this Friday when the Security Council vetoed a resolution by Arab countries, with the support of 50 others, that demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza to stop the bleeding of Palestinian blood. This American veto once again places the White House as complicit in the genocide of the Jewish state. What we could not assume is that the White House would commit the cynicism of publicly announcing that it...

ISRAEL IN PARTY; DEATH AND DESOLATION IN GAZA Starting this Thursday, December 7, the Jewish community around the world will celebrate “Hannouka”, one of the most important festivities in Jewish culture. This year, unfortunately, will coincide with the wave of bombings that cause hundreds of victims in southern Gaza. Until December 15, for eight days, people of Jewish faith will celebrate the “festival of lights.” “Hannuka” reaffirms the ideals of Judaism and the “dedication” of the temple of Jerusalem, in the second century before Jesus Christ. It is customary to place candles and illuminate the nine branches of the traditional candelabra. It might be expected that during this holiday, Israel would suspend bombing in Gaza as a gesture of commiseration: but no indication has been given in that regard, and it is to be imagined that the deaths of Palestinian civilians, refugees in the south of the en...

JOURNALISTS IN THE SPOTLIGHT Since the state of Israel was created in 1948, the relations of the Jewish entity with the international press have always been conflictive. From the presidency of the charismatic David Ben Gurion, to all those who followed him, foreign informants were always considered uncomfortable and undesirable witnesses. There have never been good relations between both parties, because Israel always considered (and considers) “natural” that its theses and positions should be propagated by journalists, as if they owed a debt for a past full of convulsions. In Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said it several times: Foreign correspondents will not be treated differently than the Palestinian civilian population. “Israel – Tsahal spokesmen have pointed out in Tel Aviv –...

GAZA: HOSTAGES NO, GENOCIDE YES If Israel were concerned about the release of the hostages still held captive, it would have extended the humanitarian ceasefire negotiated with Qatar and Egypt. But the Jewish state wanted to continue the bombings, continue the genocide and cared little if the hostages were handed over to the Red Cross. This is the reality. Israel could perfectly maintain the humanitarian pause until the release of the hostages. Qatar, Jordan, the United States, Egypt and other countries requested it. But what Netanyahu wanted was to continue bombing northern Gaza and begin bombing the south until the entire enclave becomes a desert of ruins. It seems incredible that the American president, Joe Biden, does not understand, or does not want to understand, the intentions of the Zion...
