COMPLICES WITH THE GENOCIDE
Submission is unquestionable. By preventing the Security Council resolution, which called for a humanitarian ceasefire, the United States has confirmed its complicity with the genocide that Israel maintains in Gaza, where hundreds of Palestinian civilians die every day.
The Biden administration has also demonstrated that it places the interests of Israel above those of the United States. This is something completely unprecedented in international politics. The White House claims the opposite, but the facts are there: the veto is a submission accompanied by the violation of international law and humanitarian guidelines.
The White House decision means that Palestinians in Gaza will continue to die devastated by the bombings. The cruel sight of children destroyed among the rubble; of children with wounds from which blood continues to flow; of children targeted by the effects of bombs; that atrocious vision does not concern Mr. Biden or Mr. Blinken.
This Saturday, the Pentagon confirmed the shipment to Tel Aviv of a new shipment of ammunition for the “Merkava” tanks. The "European Human Rights Monitor", which counts the bombings, estimates that since October 7, Israel has dropped 25,000 tons of explosives on Gaza, equivalent to 2 nuclear bombs. The Hiroshima copper bomb had a power of 15,000 tons. They are perfectly contrasted figures.
Arab governments would have to assume that for North America only Israel counts in the Middle East. Therefore, these executives should get closer to China and Russia so that the White House loses its arrogance towards them. After the veto; Why haven't they withdrawn their ambassadors in Washington? Why is Israel not boycotted more widely? And why do those who have recognized Israel not suspend, even temporarily, those relations?
Even the Arab press shows signs of weakness when commenting on the war crimes of the Zionist state. Israel is criticized, but it is not condemned with the force that would be necessary. At ARABINFOCUS we are not neutral, because in the face of the atrocities that are committed in Gaza, we cannot be neutral. We must insist on denouncing that Netanyahu and his racist government are genocidal like Hitler was with the Jews.
Satellite imagery and photographs show entire neighborhoods have been leveled with many hospitals, schools, places of worship and homes damaged or destroyed by Israeli land, sea and air attacks. Entire communication systems and water treatment plants have also been disabled.
