HAMAS ACCEPTS DEAL BUT ISRAEL PREPARES TO ATTACK RAFAH

On Monday, international observers expressed their satisfaction upon learning that the radical Palestinian group, Hamas, had accepted the peace plan drawn up by the mediators, Qatar and Egypt. A positive response from Israel was expected, but this did not occur.

On the contrary, this Tuesday Israeli forces took over the crossing point between Rafah and Egypt, which means that Netanyahu and his government are going to order a massive attack on Rafah, which will mean a new massacre of the Palestinian people.

When Hamas accepted the deal, the United States stated that the humanitarian pause would be accepted by Israel. The president, Joe Biden, expressed his satisfaction, but in a new conversation with Netanyahu, "he refused to support the agreement signed by Hamas.

We once again see that Netanyahu has no interest in freeing the hostages. He alone wants Hamas to be eliminated from the earth. On Monday there was a possibility that the hostages would return to their homes. The Israeli prime minister dashed those hopes.

Unfortunately, Biden lets Net anyahu do whatever he wants. The US president has once again confirmed that Netanyahu, instead of seeking peace, wants to intensify the war. Biden could stop the paranoid Jewish leader but he doesn't.

The plan accepted by Hamas includes an orderly release of the hostages and an equally orderly withdrawal of the Israeli armed forces (Tsahal) from the south of the Palestinian enclave. First there would be a ceasefire and Hamas would also release the Israeli soldiers it has captured in these seven months of war.

The framework agreement aims at: The release of all Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip, civilians or military, alive or otherwise, from all periods, in exchange for a number of prisoners held by Israel as agreed upon, and a return to a sustainable calm that leads to a permanent ceasefire and a withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, its reconstruction and the lifting of the siege.

It is evident that instead of negotiating the deal, Netanyahu continues with his military operation against Rafah. And the president, Biden, as well as the Secretary of State, Blinken, will soon see the outbreak of an even more horrible phase of the war that Israel imposes on Gaza.

The current panorama is total black without being able to see where a ray of light can appear. The Emir of Qatar; His prime minister and the Egyptian president have put all their energy into establishing a humanitarian pause in Gaza. Netanyahu has destroyed hopes
