USA AND EU COMPLICES OF THE ISRAELI GENOCIDE: ERDOGAN

In an intervention before the Parliament of Ankara this Wednesday, the President of Turkey, Recip Erdogan, accused the United States and the European Union (EU) of being “practically complicit in the genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza. He also called for a new meeting of the Security Council.

US President Joe Biden is in a bad position since he stated long ago that he would not send bombs to Israel that could be used against Palestinian civilians.

But this is what is currently happening. Israel bombed a refugee camp in Rafah using American GBU-39 bombs, delivered by Washington. The field was burned and completely destroyed, with a death toll of 45 Palestinian victims.

On the other hand, Biden stated that “a new security council meeting is of no use,” implying that Israel will continue to ignore all international calls for a ceasefire.

The invasion of Rafah has already begun. Since this Thursday, armored cars and infantry have been in the center of Rafah without civilian refugees being able to leave the place, where exchanges of fire are reported between “Tsahal” troops and individuals who could belong to Hamas, although not yet. can be confirmed.

Israel claims that it fully controls the strip that separates Rafah from Egypt. Humanitarian aid has ceased at the border.

Faced with this situation, neither Washington nor the EU have appealed this time for a humanitarian pause, taking into account that they have done so on other occasions, without Israel having met those requests. Prime Minister Netanyahu maintains that he will continue bombing the Palestinian enclave to eliminate Hamas men “at any price.”

It is evident that Netanyahu is a paranoid obsessed with the disappearance of Hamas and making Gaza a colony of the Jewish state run by Israel, despite international opinion warning that the territory must be governed solely by Palestinians.
