TSAHAL AND WAR CRIMES
The so-called “Israeli Defense Forces” (IDF) were born with the mission of defending the territory granted in 1948 by the United Nations for Israel to be born; But over time and after several wars with the Arab environment, the most important military forces in the Middle East have become invaders and occupiers, violating international laws.
Since October 8, Tsahal has been committing internationally recognized war crimes in Gaza. The response to the terrorist attack carried out by the military wing of Hamas on October 7 has revealed the genocidal face of the occupying forces. The disproportionate nature is observed in the figures: 1,200 deaths in Israel; more than 37,000 in Gaza.
The deaths of Palestinian civilians are followed by situations of undesirable torture. A few days ago, a Jewish patrol found a seriously injured man lying in the street. He picked him up but not to assist him. He placed it on the hood of the military vehicle continuing his journey. A scene similar to what was seen in Mad Max. Unbearable".
When these atrocities occur, Tsahal's commanders limit themselves to declaring that they will carry out an investigation, but they never condemn their men. The sniper who murdered the journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh, is known, but has he been tried? Has he been convicted? Nothing of that has happened.
The deformation of Tsahal has reached such a point that, when five Jewish hostages were saved from the place, where they were prisoners of Hamas, to see a patrol, they came out with a white flag shouting “We are Jews!” What did the patrol do? Shoot them and kill them. Tsahal's response: “A regrettable mistake.”
It is known that in this endless war the morale of Tsahal's troops, particularly that of the reservists, is at rock bottom. They know that they are invading troops, that they have nothing or little to do with the Tsahal at its foundation. In the West Bank they invade homes, arrest Palestinians and take them directly to jail without presenting them to a judge.
The Supreme Court of Israel has decided this week that ultra-Orthodox Jews, who until now were saved from being mobilized, can now be militarized. This will create a new tension within the Hebrew state itself, where the religious represent an important political force.
The Orthodox affirm that their only mission is to defend the foundations of original Judaism and not abandon those studies to take up a rifle. A part of Jewish society supports them because they believe that without them Israel would have taken many more years to appear on the Middle East stage.
The mental depression suffered by Tsahal's military also leads them to consider that this war is not theirs, and that its only motive is to give Netanyahu greater political prestige. But in the meantime, there are thousands and thousands of Jews who take to the streets to demand that the American peace plan be accepted so that the hostages who are still alive can be freed.
The defending Tsahal is now an invading Tsahal.
