ISRAEL'S EXPANSIONISM DOES NOT STOP
At the press conference for the foreign press in Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu used a map in which the West Bank appears as part of the Jewish state. This is further proof of the expansionist desires that drive the leaders in Tel Aviv.
At this conference, held on Wednesday, Netanyahu made it known that the Israeli forces will not abandon the so-called "Philadelphia corridor" of fourteen kilometers. It links Gaza with Egypt and which, for the Prime Minister, is a conduit through which weapons and other supplies have reached the Hamas movement.
Netanyahu added that the army has destroyed some 50 tunnels built by Hamas in this area and referring to Israel's objectives in the war - to destroy Hamas, rescue the hostages, ensure that Gaza no longer represents a threat to Israel and allow the return of citizens from the northern border - Netanyahu emphasized that all these scenarios pass through one place, the Philadelphia corridor. "That is Hamas' oxygen and rearmament conduit," he explained.
Maintaining Israeli control at this strategic point is, according to Netanyahu, key to "guaranteeing that another October 7 does not happen." For its part, the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) has condemned the use of this expansionist map, considering that it "reveals the truth of the colonial and racist agendas of the extreme right-wing government."
"Netanyahu continues to repeatedly use a map that includes the West Bank as part of the occupation state, in clear and explicit recognition of this racist colonial crime and in disregard of international legitimacy and its resolutions," the PNA also said.
