HEZBOLLAH SAYS IT IS “READY” FOR POSSIBLE ISRAELI INVASION

Despite the pain caused by the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, the “Hezbollah” movement said today that it is “ready” to face Israeli forces if they invade southern Lebanon. More than 100,000 armed members are prepared to respond to an aggression.

The warning was made by the deputy of the assassinated leader, Sheikh Naim Qassem, in a statement recorded from a secret location and was broadcast by the “Al-Manar” channel that supports Hezbollah. Israel will pay a very high price if it enters the territory of the country of the cedars, analysts estimate.

Israel has not hit Hezbollah’s military capabilities, said Sheikh Naim Qassem on Monday as he delivered a message of defiance in a public address. Despite the setbacks suffered during the bombing of Lebanon in recent days, he insisted that the armed group will continue to fight.

The possibility that the Lebanese government might try to dismantle Hezbollah has been raised several times, referring to a resolution of the United Nations Security Council, 1701, but it has never been carried out because the Lebanese people support the movement, and even the political parties are on the same page.

Israel continues its bombings in Gaza and southern Lebanon. They have not stopped sending their planes since the assassination of Nasrallah, although in reality they had already done so long before. Prime Minister Netanyahu uses aviation as a priority, as his "enemies" lack a real anti-aircraft force.

According to CNN, Israel used 2,000-pound bombs, made in the United States, in the bombing that killed Nasrallah and other senior members of Hezbollah. Bombs called “bunker busters” penetrate the concrete and then the charge explodes. The result is a shock wave that no human being can withstand.
