TRUMP WINS BAD NEWS FOR ARABS?


Not long ago, ARABINFOCUS stated that Donald Trump's victory in the American presidential elections would be bad news for the Arabs. Today we put it in an interrogative sense because we will have to wait for the actions carried out by the re-elected president to know if the Arab capitals will once again find an American leader in full complicity with Israel.


There is no doubt that Trump will support Israel in all the wars that the Jewish state unleashes in the Middle East. The complicity of the re-elected president is something that everyone knows. We must hope. However, he should be loaded with a good dose of pragmatism so as not to create again the image of a statesman who is only interested in natural gas, oil and the multi-million dollar investments that the Arabs make in the United States.


The biggest problem lies in Iran, because the Jewish prime minister, Netanyahu, wants to attack the so-called "axis of evil." Which could mean entering into a new war. With Trump in the White House, Netanyahu knows that he is in a position of strength, but the Islamic Republic is not Lebanon or Gaza. Trump will have to take this into account despite his favouritism towards Netanyahu.


It is to be expected that Trump will again demand that the Arab capitals that have not done so recognise Israel. In this regard, it should be noted that, as stated by the Saudi Crown Prince, HH Mohamed Bin Salman Al Saud, Saudi Arabia will not recognise Israel as long as there is no free state of Palestine. Qatar is presumably on the same line as the Saudis. This is very important for the new tenant of the White House to think twice before waging his own personal war against the Arabs who do not want to recognise Israel. It is a question of honour and efficiency.

                ONE HUNDRED KILLED IN THE ATTACK ON A SCHOOL IN GAZA Genocide and war crimes continue in Gaza, although Prime Minister Netanyahu says he is willing to resume peace negotiations. In the attack on a school this Friday, 100 Palestinians died, some of whom are women and children.
