4 WOMEN HOSTAGES RELEASED BY HAMAS

On Saturday, Hamas released four Israeli women who had been held hostage since October 7 last year. This is the second time that hostages have been released, taken in by the International Red Cross before being returned to their families.

Their names are Naama Levy; Liri Albag; Daniella Gilboa and Karina Ariev. Liri had appeared in a video made by Hamas in which she asked the Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu, to do everything possible to obtain their release.

The hostages, accompanied by IDF and Shin Bet security service forces, crossed the border into Israel a short while ago and are currently on their way to the initial reception point near the Gaza border, where they will also meet their parents.

This is the second time that a prisoner exchange has been carried out. Israel has released another 200 Palestinians. The four freed girls were soldiers from the IDF, the Israeli defence forces.

For the moment, the agreement signed between Israel and Hamas is working properly, but the second and third phases remain, which are the most complicated, since Hamas insists on the withdrawal of the Jewish army from the Palestinian enclave. This demand has not received a positive response from the Netanyahu government.

It is always positive that people who are hostages, no matter where they were captured, are freed.
