ISRAEL RESUMES WAR IN GAZA

Just when we thought the provisional ceasefire in Gaza could continue for some time, hoping to turn it into a permanent ceasefire, everything has collapsed. Israel has returned to war, ordering massive bombing of the Palestinian strip again.

No one expected the war to resume with its bombings and missile fire. It was even thought that President Trump would order Prime Minister Netanyahu to extend the provisional ceasefire. Everything has collapsed, proving that peace is not Israel's goal, but rather the destruction of the Hamas movement, whose members had once again been seen patrolling the enclave.

In reality, there are two important factors. Trump has no intention of pressuring Netanyahu in Gaza, and the bombing will continue while Hamas and its military wing have reappeared in some parts of the Palestinian enclave.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz have ordered the Israel Defense Forces to act forcefully against the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip,” Netanyahu's office reported early this morning.

Gaza matters little to Trump. His attention is focused on the conflict in Ukraine, which he considers more important, especially since he will hold a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin this Tuesday, prior to a personal meeting. The United States has decided to give Netanyahu a free hand in the first of these two wars.

Hamas claims that 254 Palestinians (other Palestinian sources speak of more than 300) have died in the bombings carried out by Jewish air forces again. These attacks come as the holy month of Ramadan approaches its end. This detail confirms the infamy of the Jewish leaders.

These bombings actually came as a surprise to analysts, who assumed Netanyahu would wait until the end of the Muslim fasting month. But given what has happened, it's clear that Netanyahu wants to seize Gaza and send its inhabitants into exile. His plans haven't changed; Israel wants to seize Gaza and merge it with the West Bank in a colonization project that would allow for the creation of new settler settlements.
