EAGLE RESOLVE 23 KICK OFF The Saudi armed forces began this Sunday the joint exercise “Eagle Resolve 23” drill, which was launched at the Air Warfare Center in the Eastern Province. Participating in this combined action are forces from the countries that belong to the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as military elements from the United Kingdom and the United States. One of the main objectives is to exchange technical and intelligence information on defense systems made up of missiles and batteries against the presence of enemy forces in the air. Brig. Gen. Uqab bin Awad Al-Mutairi, the commander of the duty force in the joint exercise, said the forces participating in the exercise will implement a number of theoretical and practical exercises, including air and missile operations with live ammunition, defensive counter-air op...

FOR A NOBLE SOCIALISM IN SPAIN As expected, the 28-M elections in Spain have given the president, Pedro Sánchez, a serious tumble, but more than him it has been the PSOE that has been left standing in the ditch. We knew that the president's caesarism would lead socialist Spain, which of course continues to exist, to a precipice. His caesarism and his compromises with pro-independence forces, communists and other factions that want to see Spain disunited have disappointed us, hurt us and fed us up. We Spaniards have never wanted the socialist party to sink, but this time we have chosen not to vote for it so that the values of the resurrection towards a noble socialism emerge. Pedro Sánchez has no future in this party that has become an insane mix of populism, left-wing radicalism and adulterated nationalism. He is like a North A...

SAUDI AR ARABIA ACT WITH FORCE AGAINST TERRORISM Under the leadership of the Crown Prince, Mohamed Bin Salman, Saudi Arabia has once again shown the firmness with which it fights terrorism, as it became known that the death penalty was applied against seven convicted of acts of a terrorist nature. At the same time, Riyadh is applying the Vision 2030 plan that tries to develop and empower different sectors to diversify the Saudi economy and avoid dependence on oil. Terrorism is a destabilizing element that has no place in the Saudi plan. The Saudi kingdom is also acting against jihadist terrorism linked to the Sunni side of Islam. Riyadh has for years faced terrorist attacks and plots organized by Sunni extremists who have sworn allegiance to terrorist groups such as Daesh or Al-Qaeda. The SPA news agency reported the official announcement by the Saudi Interior Ministry about the execution of seven Saudi ...

ARAB LEAGUE SUMMIT INTEGRATES SYRIA The 32nd summit of the Arab League concluded in Jeddah will be remembered as the mark of the reintegration of Syria within the organization after 12 years of absence. The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hussein Ibrahim Taha, said that the Jeddah Summit is taking place in a delicate circumstance in which the Arab and Islamic world faces challenges that require strengthening cooperation and solidarity and intensifying efforts and coordination. Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah voiced his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their warm reception and generous hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during his participation in the meeting of the 32nd regular session of the C...

The 32nd Arab Summit kicks off in Jeddah With the presence of the Syrian president, Bashir El Assad, the 32nd summit of the Arab League began in Jeddah, which represents an important step on the path of reconciliation between the governments and peoples of the member countries. Invited by the Saudi government, the President of Ukraine, Volodomir Zelensky, also arrived in Jeddah, who is currently carrying out a series of visits abroad to report on the development of the war in his country and seek help to deal with the targeted aggression. by Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The Arab countries need to unite their efforts to deal with the Islamophobia that is still spreading in the West. It is therefore a duty to defend the principles of peace established in Islam. With the presence of Syria, 12 years have ended without its participation in the meetings...

THE ARAB SUMMIT, A DECISIVE COMMITMENT. The 32nd summit of the Arab League will open this May 19 in Jeddah and one of the great novelties will be, in principle, the presence of the Syrian president, Bashir El Asad, once his country has been reintegrated into the pan-Arab organization. The Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal Bin Farhane Al Saud, has been commissioned to deliver the invitations on behalf of the king, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, born in December 1935. The atmosphere of the summit could be rarefied due to the existing differences between Algeria and Morocco. King Salman has ruled out that his country can mediate between Algiers and Rabat, although he has proposed that the two parties take advantage of the summit to resolve or at least alleviate their difference. This seems impossible, given the different positions of Morocco and Algeria on the Western ...

SHIREN MURDER ANNIVERSARY On May 11, 2022, the Palestinian-American journalist, Shiren Abu Akleh, was coldly assassinated by an Israeli sniper, when she was covering a confrontation in the Jenin refugee camp. Israel thus silenced a voice that narrated the reality of the aggression of the Zionist armed forces against the Palestinian people. Murdering a journalist is a disgusting crime that Israel has already committed and, unfortunately, may commit again. A known total of 20 journalists (18 Palestinians, 1 British and 1 Italian, have been killed by the Israeli military). The soldier who killed Shiren has not been prosecuted or convicted and Israel has not even acknowledged her full complicity. The Israeli government consistently exonerates the military for killing information professionals. The only thing Israel has done th...

THE GREAT POLITICAL VALUE OF PRINCE M. BIN SALMAN The crown prince, Mohamed Bin Salman, has shown great political courage in defending the interests of Saudi Arabia. An extraordinary man, who loves and defends his country and assumes his rightful role in the Middle East. Accepting the mediation of China, the prince restored relations with Iran, which constitutes a bold decision that responds to the principles of a regional peace in the interests of all. Mohamed Bin Salman also faced pressure from the United States for OPEC production to skyrocket, which would have put producing countries at risk. And finally, the most recent decision has been to re-establish the Saudi embassy in Damascus, in line with the opening of the Syrian embassy in Ryadh. The announcement came two days after Syria was readmitted into the Arab League – despite repeated objections from the United States. Analysts have said that Syria’s re-admission into the Arab League, comes with ...

TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE TUNISIAN ISLAND OF DJERBA A Tunisian gendarme, presumably a radical Islamist, started a shooting in front of the "La Griba" synagogue on the island of Djerba, which caused four deaths, according to the Tunisian authorities. The gendarme first killed one of his colleagues and then murdered two pilgrims, including a Frenchman. Another police officer lost his life, too, in the shooting. The gendarme who fired the shots was finally killed. This shooting occurred as part of the annual pilgrimage to the synagogue, which usually brings together thousands of pilgrims, some even from Israel. “La Griba” is the oldest synagogue in Africa and, in past years, it was also the scene of other attacks of a presumably terrorist nature.

BIDEN-TRUMP: AN ECCENTRIC POLICY IN THE MIDDLE EAST The United States, under different presidents and in not always similar situations, have always based their foreign policy in the Middle East on two untouchable elements: political and economic interests; and political and military support for Israel, whatever the circumstances. Biden and Trump have held and hold a different line in that region? Fundamentally NO, although nuances have been produced outside the molds. In the case of Trump, this was due to his ignorance of the main lines of a foreign policy. His former security adviser, John Bolton, put it in inelegant terms: “Trump doesn't have a clue about foreign policy; he does not know where some countries are located and even the names of their capitals. Leaving his advisers aside, and committed to the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to support everything he could ask of him, in the last years ...

DUBLIN AND THE SPECTER OF HUNGER The African continent and much of Asia suffer from a serious disease that continues without being eradicated. This disease is called “hunger”. In recent years, hundreds of thousands of people have died from lack of food. And they continue to die, particularly due to the conflicts that plague the regions where they live poorly. We could cite Sudan as the most recent example. The United Nations and the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) strive to provide the most essential food. Europe, the United States and other Western countries also help, but these contributions are still insufficient. In the framework of the disastrous war in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin has at least made the gesture of allowing Ukrainian grain exports from the Black Sea ports. The African Union and President Racip Erdogan have pleaded with Putin to prevent an even more terr...

ANOTHER PALESTINIAN DIES IN HUNGER STRIKE The death of a Palestinian prisoner does not move the West, as if nobody cares. For Israel this death is no longer news. After all, so many Palestinians have been shot dead by Tsahal in Gaza and the West Bank! After 87 days on hunger strike, Khader Adnam, 45, died in an Israeli jail sparking a wave of protests in the occupied territories and Gaza. Israel claims that it wanted to give Adnam medical attention but he refused to be treated. This information could not be confirmed from impartial sources. He was detained in February on suspicion of membership in a terrorist organization, support for terrorism and incitement, Israeli authorities said. He had not been tried at the time of his death.   Following news of his death, Palestinian political parties announced a general strike in the West Bank in mourning for Adnan, with the shuttering of courts, schools,...
